Does legend play differently in WS than in Play with friends?
He’s damn good. Has an amazing ability to get base hits deep in the count the other way.
As for Trout and Yelich triple crown...it would be awesome but RBI is somewhat out of their control.
I have yelich and he hits good online for me. Lots of doubles. I’m only in Division series though.
Yelich really needs a power upgrade in this game though considering he already has 10 bombs this year. His current attributes won’t hit you too many homeruns
He should...his power in this game is embarrassing
I don’t know why he didn’t start as a silver this year.
Swing with power
The point is maybe you are the bad hitter. Don’t square up, have poor timing, etc...
I could care less...and how would that help you win?
That’s where the problem with analog pitching lies....or any input for that matter. You tend to get better results by purposely missing
He wasn’t close to the wall. He just kind of went into the bullpen pitcher jog when he was going after the ball.
I’ve experienced it as a single to the right of my left fielder with a runner on first. He ended up getting 2nd and 3rd. It really should have been 1st and 2nd. The left fielder was Acuna.
People don’t realize consistently good user input overcomes the uncontrollables in this game.
Line outs on squared up balls are more glaring to the average player because they don’t square up often. Etc. etc.
Someone did the steal and turn back to first on me last night.
I thought that was fixed, but he got back to first easy.
I miss all of the “stat quoters” and game detectives this year.
I have 200mbps internet and every game is terribly laggy for me.
SDS biggest challenge is finding balance. How do you create a game that rewards user input but also produces lifelike results?
Hitting 100+ mph line outs all the time is just as bad as squaring up and popping up all the time.
For starters, they need to get rid of the ridiculous check swings in this game. They also need to turn most of these foul tipped swings into swings and misses.
In regards of how they should reward squared up swings, they really need to make it harder to do. Then when you hit a rocket and get a hit you feel good about.
People feel cheated because it’s just way too easy to square up and stay in an at bat in this game.
I don’t understand their statement in the streams about timing meaning more than PCI placement either.
They talked about different avenues to be a good hitter etc.
I don’t see this at all in this game.
I just don’t get why the framerate is so terrible this year.
On a PS Pro, ‘17 and ‘18 were butter.
In competitive h2h play, defensive ratings should effect range, arm strength and the ability to come up with tough plays.
Leave the error on the routine play out of it.
Throwing errors by bad meters or trying to do too much on a play is realistic, but routine should be routine in online play.
Games play way smoother in the minor league parks.
It was a good idea in theory, but it’s terribly boring.
There’s nothing fun about retrying missions over and over again where you have very little control over the outcome.
way worse this year
Basically tunnel the pitchers release point wherever you feel comfortable starting the PCI and and work off of that.
Know where your PCI is but don’t stare at it. You’ll learn how to move it to certain parts of the zone while reading the pitch.
Youll learn how to start your PCI at different parts of the zone off of different pitchers. For instance
Bentances- I would start the PCI belt high and a bit in. I know I can get his fastball from there and hit his curve.
Sale - I work directly off of his release point up and out of the zone and track in.
Its all about knowing the zone and how pitches break.
The timing windows In this game are earlier than last year. You have to commit early to consistently hit the ball hard. There are some late type hits but you’ll have more success not getting jammed.
Quick recognition and anticipation of where break will be is your friend. That’s where a mode like challenge of the week comes in handy for practice.
Just my two sense on hitting. I know everyone has different opinions.
