my friend, that's a terrible margin to begin with, why would you have even attempted that flip? at that level you need at least a 3k margin to make something
There hasn't been any mention of them tweaking late hits in any patch notes, they just mentioned they were aware of the problem in the last stream. There has not been a release of any major gameplay patch in this game yet.
i personally use offset zoom, its a mix between strikezone and zoom. I can still see my batter but im still zoomed in
calm down, your not going to have to worry about it in the wild card division. it's only at high levels
you won't see them, they are that fast, get it? tehehehehe
They're great, I've never had a problem with cosmetics in video games, as long as there is no competitive advantage to them, why not.
I made it when I was younger, I listened to Dmx a lot and one of his albums is called Grand Champ and I thought it sounded like a good gamer tag. The 3500 is just because I wore 35 in highschool and added some zeros to it
If you can't counter "spamming" of an up an in fastball that's on you. At the higher levels you could never throw up and in because every hitter had their PCI set up there. Plus, the average player wouldn't be playing at CS and WS levels anyways, which means the difficulty in 19 would be where it should be. The speed levels of allstar and below are not going to change (though i feel all star should at least be at 17 speeds). Seems as though you might actually have to practice to get to high levels of a competitive ranked seasons mode. What a concept right?
the rewind will be on youtube at 6pm eastern time tonight. Ramone will probably tell us who the guy in the outfield is i bet
yea that was interesting, that had some type of esports banner, i guess they ditched the idea
ummm we never get info on the new game until February, so this isn't anything new buddy. We usually get a twitch schedule at the end of January so expect it next week.
nope, i don't even think guess pitch should be used by new players because you become a better player by reacting to pitches natrually not by an indicator telling you what spot the pitch is coming. plus, doesn't guess pitch activate before the pitch is even thrown? that's ridiculous
It’s probably a mix, it’s not like it would be a requirement to be a fan of baseball to work there
both should be a given in a baseball game don't you think, i don't think we should have to choose between the two
The pitch speeds hitting are too slow. I understand making them easier to read at rookie and veteran level, but all star and above need a dramatic increase! Make me nervous to face Aroldis Chapman again!
Hell no, I don’t want to have to readjust my hitting anytime I want to change a mode. SDS needs to just stick to a speed and stay there
I’m not saying casuals can’t play diamond dynasty, I’m saying they should not expect to just climb the ranks when they first get the game. The game should have a base standard in certain aspects like pitch speeds that users have to use time and effort to master.
Oh and another thing, honestly this game prior to 18 wasn’t that hard to be decent at online. To be elite, that’s a different story but your buying a baseball game that’s designed around a game that requires you to hit a small ball with a small bat, your obviously gonna need some skill to play
Yea no, pitch speeds need to be fast, it creates a much needed skill gap in a competitive game. I’m not elite by any means but slow pitch speeds aren’t enjoyable for anyone. There’s plenty of modes for casual players why should they affect modes that have rewards on the line?
If you want to play causal, play unranked or online rated where it will match you with someone who wants to play at the same level.
The hell that was raised in relation to 18 was far higher then I’ve ever since and I’ve been playing since 2013. Just look at all the videos on YouTube “is 18 a failure” “why I stopped playing 18” etc it was crazy
ummm would you rather have what we have now or 17? people who say that 17 was just as bad as 18 need to sit down and play both back to back. 17 was superior, was it great? of course not, but i'd take it over what we have now any day of the week
***, kid, no one is playing for keeps here, it's an alpha, br right now is for people who don't feel like playing a full 9 game. the rewards don't matter
Pass, honestly I was expecting a revamped hitting engine in this alpha. It reminds me too much of 18 and it just doesn’t feel ‘right’. I think it’s just the hitting engine itself that isn’t good, idk.
tell me how you get these gappers. I played probably 20 innings today and got 3 gappers (i counted) between me and my opponent. I hopped on 17 and I had like 3 doubles in one 9 inning game. i don't get it.
