So, are you saying people who watch baseball dont like rap music? I haven't heard the soundtrack as I dont have 19.
Why are people acting like Rogers Hornsby was only a contact hitter? He had seasons of
.401ave 42HRs 152RBI 1.181OPS
He most certainly wasnt only a contact hitter.
What's your thought on 3? I actually preferred it to season 1.
2 on the other hand...garbage
The original Twilight Zone basically rewrote television. So many other shows have stolen (directly or indirectly) from that franchise.
But the best show I have ever watched is Breaking Bad. The acting is amazing. Character development is perfect. Each season is better than one before it, which never happens when watching a tv series.
Rogers Hornsby. That's the good stuff. Greatest offensive 2B ever.
13 years! LOL. Where is Rick Dipietro? Have people just refused to learn anything from history?
Anyone know the answer to this? Can you pull all versions of the relevant players in the finest packs? It seems it should be just the finest version. My third pack had live series versions of both Yelich and Treinen. Seems like one of those should be a finest.
I'm just looking for clarification, thanks.
When I was playing events (to get Feller and Ted), I would take the extra step, but not necessarily for stealing. I got a lot more fastballs up in the zone as my opponent was worried about the steal. I did steal at times (usually without the extra step/ and in advantageous counts), but I noticed an increase in fastballs when i took the extra step, and less when I took the normal lead.
I'm pretty bad offensively, so that helped me out in getting through the 70 win grind quicker.
I do see why it is considered a bad thing as well. I'm not advocating, but explaining why I did it.
I opened 5 more finest packs with the last of my stubs. I believe they are just trolling me now. I pulled Realmuto, Treinen, and Yelich. Problem is they were all LIVE SERIES versions! Straight up trolling me.
Edit: just thought about this. Is this something that can happen, or should the 3 above have been finest versions? My question is: when finest versions are out, should they be the only version you can pack at that time?
So let's say the Orioles pony up the $$$ for Harper. What kind of a difference would he actually make.
Some teams realize they need to rebuild, so why should they also spend all that money that wont get them any closer to their rebuilding goal.
I thought I would test this theory from above: you pull more diamonds when you dont have many high rated LS players in your club. It didnt work for me. Thought I would let others know the results.
Im not complaining about the pack odds, as I have done that once already and it didnt do any good.
Thought I would test the LS diamond theory. I only have Aroldis Chapman and 4 gold LS players. Opened 120 packs, and 5 finest packs. Pulled 6 total gold players. 5 from the finest packs, and 1 from the 120 packs. 1 diamond bobblehead (arizona), and 0 other diamonds. Can confirm that packs are not "juiced".
Wouldnt Maddux have appropriate pants length/stirrups?
That's true. Maybe we can go full silly and have your player helicopter the bat above his head and fly around the bases!
Like what? Pantomime a machine gun bat at the pitcher? Pogo stick bat? Moonwalk?
I've been selling a ton of common and bronzes for over 200 stubs. I have made 40k since I started purging.
First year playing, so unsure if any of these have been in recently....
Roberto Hernandez, Wilson Alvarez, Alex Fernandez, Bobby Jenks, Bobby Thigpen, Mark Buerhle, Maglio Ordonez, Lance Johnson, Ray Durham, Ron Kittle, Robin Ventura
Unless you are talking about the old legends like Nellie Fox, Ed Walsh, Hoyt Wilhelm, Eddie Collins, Wilbur Wood, Lefty Williams types
Zero duplicates for me! Extremely hard to believe, but have gotten very lucky. Freeman, Yelich, Betts, Bauer, Lindor, deGrom.
Shibe was the key for me as well. Hit 2 HRs in a game with him that way a couple times.
How about 26 year old Ryan Braun, or Prince Fielder? They were both MVP candidates in their primes. Guaranteed 10 year deals are just stupid. Especially when you give it to a lazy a-hole, who is only interested in himself. I cant see this working for 6 years, let alone 10.
Reggie, Yogi, Guidry, Goose, all Yankee big names, and greats. Gehrig would be awesome though.
They will have to realize that looonnngg term contracts are a thing of the past. They just arent worth it from the teams point of view.
If they want to sign 1 year deals, that's fine with me. Certainly would make the offseason more interesting.
Most people that I know that watch soccer (including myself), dont watch MLS as its defenders are terrible. Even here in the US, people want to watch the best players and therefore watch EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, and even Ligue 1.
Question: What does SB's have to do with their ability as a hitter?
