So instead of realizing that this in fact NOT last year's game, and changing your approach and practicing.... you're gonna complain, blame the game, and quit. Makes sense.
I feel like it’s the opposite for me. In past years I was a 1.5 ERA, .230 BA kinda guy, but it worked. Now I’m like a 3.5 ERA, .360 kinda guy. It’s still working, but it feels weird.
It’s actually crazy going from hof or legend to online play. I feel like I have to wait to hit a fastball. A change up looks like a softball toss.
I agree that it’s messed up, but no power is not the issue. The fact that online game play is essentially waiting for fastballs and hitting power swing.
facing Dee Gordon? Fastball down the middle won’t leave the infield.
Facing Ryan Schimpf? Any fastball is hit 460 feet.
I don’t mind the slower pitch speeds, since it’s kinda fun destroying the ball more often. However, you have to admit the game is at least a little broken when the new meta is using all high power low contact players, regardless of primary positions. And then using Phil neikro to offset it. While I like that high fastballs can’t be spammed anymore (They were my bread and butter too) they shouldn’t be crushed literally every time. Joey gallo has what, 13 vision in this game? What’s gonna happen when people are using babe Ruth and vlad?
This was a refreshing post to read
I don’t think I’ve yelled “come on, reward me!” more than I have in the last 48 hours
End game content means... well... you know what it means I hope.
Thank you for seemingly being the only person who agrees with me. Last year everyone had 99 overall teams way too quick. Now they fixed that, plain and simple. If they wanted you to have Ruth after a week, you’d have him after a week. Ever think that maybe... just maybe... they designed some things in the game to actually be really hard to get?
Playing against Nolan Ryan in the past was aids simply because of the fastball change up difference. This is gonna be nuts.
Did you ever face Luis Tiant from last year?
You need to calm down bro. Not everything is meant to be completed so quickly. I’d give it a month.
These things are meant to be “end game content”. That means “not achieved in the first week”. If people want to shell out money to get things they would eventually get for free, why would sds stop them? “No thanks, we don’t want more money”.... that being said, these immortals and such are literally designed so that you get them after months and months of gameplay. They did a good job making sure you can’t get them quickly, since that’s what they’re designed to be. The market will calm down over time, and things will be cheaper. People just need to wait and actually grind things, like it was meant to be played. If we complain too much, we’ll force sds to cater to the “casual” player, and everyone will have 99 overall teams within the first week. Do we want that?
It’s low on their priority list when people are being shorted money or stubs. It’s wins in one game mode. Get over it. Quit crying
The event was known to be broken from day 1. Literally like 2 hours in, it was all over the internet. If you kept playing and lost wins, that’s on you. We all knew there’d be issues at launch. Play the game or don’t, complaining isn’t going to help. If you lost wins, win more games and get over it.
So how many games did you have to win on legend? And I’m guessing you like, branches out to different strongholds from a general line?
I second this!
I don’t think I’ve ever yelled at my tv more, than when that stuff happens.
That literally applied to nothing that was said...
Haha nice. Screw that guy, right?
Second what sweedy says. You gotta pay attention bro. Event wins haven’t been sticking through a card reset. Literally the point of this post.
Nah, he’ll get injured before that happens
Any chance event wins are counting, but just the physical counter doesn’t actually show it?
Try pitching with the camera angle the same as you use for hitting. (Catcher’s view, for example)
It’s baseball, dude.
324 home runs. Check your math bruh.
