You sound like an ignorant elitist. SDS emphasizes “play the way you want”. Let people use whatever interface they please. The pros and cons are very proportional to the difficulty of the interface. They’re also clearly laid out.
Also, if you’re actually as good as you think you are, you should never lose to somebody using directional.
What about the runner diving back into third on a ground ball when there’s 1 out. I get SO irate. What’s the point of having R1 and L1?
That’s pretty epic. Once you get into the late teens you HAVE to stay out of principal. You already spent that much time!
Yea this seems to generally be the consensus, and I agree as well. The game plays phenomenally on all-star. Once you bump it up to hof all bets are off. They gotta change something, because RS is gonna be a huge turn off for above average players in no time.
Dang. That's a good one. Props for facing him and hanging in there. You deserved better.
Do you think that when you press X to start the game and skip seeing the opponent's record, that it skips it for them too? I feel like in past games it would sometimes skip it without me pressing it.
If you closed your eyes it would be very hard to know which version you're playing. Nor would I be able to see my game logs.
This debate has already been WAY overplayed. When it comes down to it, they're not going to get rid of hitting styles, nor should they. The advantages and disadvantages of each style are plain and clear (and fair in my opinion). People are allowed to play how they want, plain and simple. Do I think directional is stupid? Yes, because you have less control over something that you seem to already have little control over. However, if you looked at the leaderboards, and asked each and every one of them what hitting style they used, almost every single one would say zone.
You're gonna end up getting all of them anyway, so you should pick whoever helps you the most right now. If that's a pitcher you have a 20% chance of drawing, so be it. For me it was a closer with a disgusting circle change that I can choose when to use.
I'm guessing he means the people that used all "power or nothing" type hitters and basically played homer or bust, and had success with it?
There's still 2/3rds of the month to play though
I don't think he'll get a diamond, but as a biased Mets fan, I definitely agree with you. The dude has the most XBH in the majors (3 way tie, however he has 20 less AB than the other two).
I wish I had the solution, man. My only guess is maybe try to slow down so you'll catch it on the run? There's no way it's fielder's-rating based; it's happened to Andruw Jones multiple times.
I've noticed this happening a lot when the fly ball is near a wall. The fielder will essentially try to run and touch the wall first, and ignore the fly ball.
Maybe it's just me, but I honestly feel like check swings are far less successful this year compared to last. I've also noticed a lot more balls put in play off of check swings.
Looking at our combined messages... I’m the one wasting more time... right.
I don't get it... would Trout not have been inside the pack? The pack wouldn't come over and hand me Trout, so it's certainly not from the pack. Maybe "from within". Maybe next time, kiddo.
I have a good amount of diamonds, and I am very happy with my team. I was not handed a diamond in the beginning. The only diamond I pulled was FB Brian McCann. I have a time consuming job, and I spend almost zero time on the market. Your logic is flawed. The game rewards you very well, simply for playing.
The end of what you said couldn't be truer. I feel like we're getting the lower level affinity rewards for no reason. We get em, just for them to sit in our inventory and never use :-/
