I’ve always gotten 3 (sometimes even 4).  Why are we only getting two now?  I’ve also noticed that the Stars seem to be not accurate in other modes. Even our last batch of moments for the inning were light compared to past moments. 600 is hard enough the way it was. 2 stars for a ranked game would mean I have to play 100 ranked games for 200 stars. That’s not what it has been.

It has been 2 stars since the start of the game.  It is 1 star every 4.5 innings

I dont think that accurate.  Its supposed to one star for every 2,000 or so xp.  At least as far as I know.

You'll get there.

I know I’ve always gotten more than two.

Pretty sure it’s based on xp.  If you swing at alot of first pitches, you won’t get alot of xp

Maybe that’s it. Not getting as much XP. Past innings I’ve accumulated more stars it seemed like.

I noticed this too. I thought maybe I was just retarded.

8/25/2019 12:50PM PDT

I’ve noticed this too. When playing full 9 inning vs CPU games on Rookie for team affinity innings, I used to always get 3 stars every time no matter if I was scoring runs or bunting. Now it’s 2 every time, no matter what. Not sure why they feel the need to keep changing it without telling anybody.

8/25/2019 12:50PM PDT

I thought we got 1 star every 3 innings, 3 for a 9 inning game etc

8/25/2019 12:50PM PDT

It's based on XP

8/25/2019 12:54PM PDT

It use to be 1 star for every conquest game completed, and 2 stars for every 9 innings completed. I've noticed lately now that if you play a conquest game you don't get a star, you have to play two conquest games in order to get 1 star.

So because losers are plugging in two controllers and finishing the programs in 6 hours, SDS is going to take stars away from the regular gameplay? These guys are smart you gotta give it to them.

8/25/2019 1:09PM PDT

Again... It hasn't changed. It's based on how much XP you earn per game.

Bro. I’m 99.9 sure I have always gotten 3 per game and 1 per conquest. I didn’t all of sudden just get less XP out of nowhere. Something has changed. If it’s not the stars, less XP is being awarded.

8/25/2019 1:35PM PDT

Could be less XP but XP comes from the amount of pitches one sees, hits one gets in a game etc...

So you will have games you get more XP and therefore stars than others.

There’s really no reason whatsoever for the secrecy. SDS should just say “you get X stars for Y XP.”

There are a million reasons to complain about the game and the company, but their complete unwillingness to explain the fundamentals of how their game actually works is inexcusable. How do you get stars? It’s up to us to figure out. What exactly do each of the attributes mean? Again, no official explanation. I’m not asking them to give away trade secrets, or anything. But tell us how the stupid game works so we know how to manage our rosters. For example, a few streams ago Ramone said the Hr/9 stat and the Power stat “go at each other a little bit.” Dafuq does that mean???? If I’ve got a hitter with 80 power, does that mean a pitcher with 81 HR/9 has the advantage? Is there a difference between a pitcher with an HR/9 that’s slightly above the hitter’s power as opposed to someone with a significantly better HR/9? How exactly does control differ from BB/9? What exactly does K/9 do? Which stats “go at each other” and in what way? Knowing the very basics of how the game functions is essential for gamers to know. I usually defend SDS on some things, but their silence on so many simple questions is not just incompetence (I know they know how to answer these questions) — it’s outright indifference toward the people who are making that company rich.

This happened to me as well.

8/25/2019 2:19PM PDT

I'm fairly sure it used to be 1 star for every 2500 xp. They may have changed it though, we know they did after the first inning.

Yeah it definitely was. I just played 2 conquest games where I went on a rampage offensively and didn’t get any for either game.

8/25/2019 3:09PM PDT

I’m almost positive it was 1 Star per 3 innings

8/25/2019 3:52PM PDT

Not saying anything changed, but I can’t imagine popular steamers making videos showing how to work the system didn’t help as far as awarding us stars.
