Why did they take this out of the game

last year and years past you saw if you were facing a LHP or RHP, during the lineup change phase prior to a game. Why was this taken out? It's part of the game in real life and so many of us have players that pose better vs RHP/LHP etc., So basically if I start Granderson and there's a lefty on the mound I'm screwed and have to take him out before his first at bat and can no longer use for the rest of the game. Please put it back in the game SDS!

Right but for example I could stack my lineup with all lefties and if i see im facing a lefty I then back out until Im facing a righty. I brought this up earlier this year cuz i agree you should be able to know but I figured it could be something you buy...So like it could be hidden and there could be an option like "pay 2000 stubs" to see if its a lefty or righty so you can adjust your lineup accordingly and if you still wanna back out there isnt a refund.

i like the idea...but it will never fly...here is why...

"I know i spent my stubs to get the advantage, but since i still lost the game i think i deserve my money back" "wait. it said non-refundable? i thought it said non-refundable if i win"

"just give me my stubs back before i call Saul and start a class action lawsuit" "oh i cant even sue you guys?" "Listen in reality i spent the stubs on accident, there should me some more confirmation steps to make sure i really wanted to spend those stubs, so you see its not my fault its yours....so can i have my stubs back now?"

what needs to happen is they just need to allow us the save a vs. lhp and a vs rhp lineup from our 25 man roster.

They should've just made it that we can't quit/back out when we're at the lineup part while still showing us left or right pitching

Yah i agree thats a good solution...Just dont allow backouts, thats like a MLB club showing up and saying they wanna back out cuz they dont wanna face Sale that day lol

I actually don't mind it. I can't stand handedness whores, who have no ability to face the same handed pitcher. 95% of the lineups have a steady mix of Left and Right handed hitters, and have forced players to shut up and play, rather than cheezing their lineup for lefty or righty. Now if they want to do that, they have to make the subs in game and deplete their bench.

I see what your saying but at the same time its just not realistic. The diamondbacks dont play Jake Lamb against lefties because you could probably throw a pitcher out there and have a better chance of hitting a lefty then Jake does. So if a big leauge club can take Lamb out of the lineup cuz they are facing a lefty that day then we should be able to some how
