Do all wives hate The Show?

I'm 41, have 3 kids. My wife loves baseball and gaming(but won't play the show). she watches me play and thinks it's awesome. everyone in my house has their own PS4 and I have the Pro, no one is kicking me off my grinding.

This is the best conversation I've ever seen here. Nice to see everyone sharing and enjoying it.  I'm 41 and the wife is extremely tolerant of my daily gaming. Grew up collecting and trading cards with my buddies in the neighborhood like most of you older dudes.

Am I the only guy in his mid 40's grinding at this game?  I feel like everyone else is a college kid or younger.  Make me feel better and tell me I am not the only immature dork who can't wait for his wife to fall asleep so I can play this game.

    47. I have always been obsessed with baseball (the only sport I follow) and always loved video games. My first system was the Fairchild Channel F, the first system to have changeable cartridges... it was awful, ha ha. But I reckon I have played a hundred different baseball video games between consoles, arcades, PC and handhelds, and I can confidently say this is the best one I've played. Luckily I have an indulgent girlfriend who rolls her eyes when I fire up the game each day, but she doesn't judge. And so I say nothing when she comes home with yet another pair of shoes.

41, three kids and two full time jobs. I'm lucky enough to get a lot of playing time at both of them, so home time gets to be dedicated to wife and kids.

Seriously, this is the most positive and enlightening post I've seen all year. Thanks OP.

38; wife, two kids, and I'm a college professor. Earlier in the summer, while teaching an 8-week course, I had some of my students debate the merits of post patch hitting. They made some interesting observations, to say the least. Like everyone else married on here, I find time while my wife sleeps or works late.
