We've been reading over much of the feedback regarding the difficulty change in Battle Royale as it was taking place, but now that it's all said and done, (and while we analyze our own findings), what are your thoughts? Did you enjoy the change? How did hitting feel compared to All-Star? Would you prefer it stayed Hall of Fame?

We've been reading a few other threads out there with some feedback already, but I'd like to try to start a new and try to keep it focused. Please share your opinion, whilst respecting others. Thanks!

Not a huge BR player, but All-star is much less daunting to average, or slightly above players such as myself. Given that so many missions REQUIRE BR play, and there is a stubs cost attached, the difficulty really shouldn't be placed too high for "the masses" to accumulate hitting stats.

I didn't even bother trying it. Not interested in an event that's HOF only. I can understand and appreciate there's an elite group of players and they want something for themselves. I just kind of assumed that's what the WS division was for.

Seems dumb to me that a game mode is advertised as the ultimate level playing field, where everyone has similar teams so you won't be overmatched, and then ratchet up the difficulty so only highly skilled players will succeed.

Anyway, hope everyone enjoyed it. If it remains at HOF, I won't be playing. Not until I think I can compete anyway.

Looking at it that way, aren't the highly skilled players screwed with all star difficulty because less skilled players can compete with them? I personally don't care what level the hitting is at as long as its the same for both players. If a better player is gonna beat me on HOF, they should beat me on All Star as well

The change kept me from even attempting BR. I know quite a few others who didn't play either due to the change. But then again, maybe we are the minority, not the majority.

The change kept me from playing.  I need BR for the Clark Epic but I struggle as it is on AS, getting completely overmatched.  The thought of shelling out 1500 stubs to not get a hit on HOF was a turn-off for me.  I very much enjoy the mode but as a casual player who doesn't make a lot of stubs like the pros, there was no need to basically buy a pack of commons and bronzes at 1.5 the normal cost.
